WIP 2 - Into the Woods

by Foxeye

I thought this'd be done in the same style as my other recent art, but looks like something with more realism is emerging.  I like the direction it is going, though I'm waffling about a number of things. Like her hair. I like the amount that the red shows through, asthetically, but it's not technically accurate for night-time colors.  *chew lip*  But is that so wrong? Not sure.  I'll let the picture dictate itself, I guess, and see what emerges when I'm done.

Cropped out the background because it is extra-unfinished and distracting.

c/c of all levels welcome.

*stares* She looks absolutely amazingly breathtaking. I can almost touch her she looks so real!

I'm not sure about the hair either, but without the red it looks almost invisable. Perhaps it could use some highlights like you did on her back?

Oh, how could I miss this? Wonderful progress! I don't know how realistic it should be, as it still portraits an EQ elf. I'm in love with the shading. Her hip and her butt have definitely a realistic touch. And the allover darkness of this pic reminds me of the firefly scene somewhat. It's gorgeous. The pale moonlight on her skin... I love it! Depending on how much color you want to keep in this picture I would leave her hair as it is. This way it might fit better with the color degree her clothes have. But I could be totally wrong here... My experience with real moonlight is, that it takes away basically all color.
