this reminds me of that cartoon from the early 90s Dark water? anyone remember that?

Very dark, poor Rayek. The lines on Winnowill's dress and hair are so wonderfully done! Love how "graphic" this entry looks. Very comic-y. Truly nice, clear colors. And again, poor Rayek...

Well, well. I never thought it was a good idea for him to get on with the challenge of handling Winnowill. But then, somebody had to do it, right? Ah, he's so noble.
The poor thing. I like the use of Winnie's entangling hair - it is a nice metaphor for her less material ways of entangling, betraying and confusing people. And that is even more sad - maybe he'd like to be entagled with her - but not with her ulterior motives in it. I hope his tragic path will lift up somehow in the Final Quest. But anyway: Thanks for doing Rayek-art for the calendar.

I remember Dark Water, I loved that show.
Yes this concept just screams comic book. It also screams look at Rayek’s naked bum. I’m not usually a fan of Rayek’s parts but I may have to reconsider… Nice work Evonne. |

For all that Rayek is a major character - I do have to say- he does not get enough fan art. This is a great interpretation of the inner struggle that he must always be experiencing.
