This started out as one of my favourite RP chars, Melody, but I can't shake of the feeling that it looks more like Moonshade.

What'cha think? Can anyone tell me what eyecolor Moonshade has? I've always thought of her as a green eyed beauty, but a part of me says it's brown. Gah. I hate drawing char's I don't know much about.

I'll take it down if it doesn't fit as an elfquest drawing. In my head it's now Moonshade thou'.

EDIT: Okaii, purple eyes, gosh darn.

Well, her eyes do change from purple to brown, so it is hard to tell sometimes. However, I usually go for purple, the VERY few times I've drawn her.

Moonshades eyes are purple. But this does look like her, though more on the human side.

Oh, brown, okaii, I'll change it right away then! (I won't draw purple eyes, even if it's canon.)

Damn it, purple? Who the **** has purple eyes?

Purple eyes are puuurrty! :) But in truth, her eyes are mostly colored black in the comics because she has such thick eyelashes, you only really saw her eye color in close ups or later in the EQ series. (especially in Hidden Years you could see it)

Personally I'm really fond of blue and green eyes. I can't think of anything prettier than a girl with big green/blue eyes. Ghhhh <3 But I haven't seen anyone with purple eyes, so purrhaps that's the reason.

Why do everyone know so much small details about the series? Am I the only one who doesn't care about stuff like that... Untill I gotta draw them, that is.

Well, I'm a very detailistic person. To me, I grew up with ElfQuest, I would sit with my mom as she read them to me so all I could do was look at the pictures. Then over the years of noticing small things, it really became helpful when I started drawing ElfQuest 2 years ago. Moonshade was of the first characters I drew and I went back and studied all the pictures of her to get a good idea of what I was drawing. Even now I do that for all the characters and having an eye for detailed is a really good thing to have.

And yeah, blue eyes or green eyes are really gorgeous, thats another reason why I like Ember, she has pretty eyes. But purple are a really rare thing to find.

Humans can have purple eyes, too. But it's really, really rare. People who have near-albinism can often have lavender eyes.

Moonshade started out with brown eyes (see the pastel portfolio series WP did) but Elfmom changed them to purple later.

Huh, I didn't know that. Knew that pink was something which could occur with albinism, but not lavender.
