Ever had a really cool image in your mind's eye, then sketched it and liked it, only to realize that... your character is left handed?

That was happened here. So I had to change the pose, and not it doesn't look as cool. Oh well.

I haven't really drawn her in ages. I wanted to get some annoyed bitterness across, hence the yellow color. In Norway that color was for poison. I also tried to give her a double-chin, but I'm not sure how successful I was.

I don't know what to call her, so I'll just call her the same as the body type I was trying to draw.

I did not bother to erase the red pencil lines, ever after I did the rough inking. And the shading isn't consistent at ALL.

I kept doing these ballpoint drawings on a A5 paper. Did four of them, but since only two were ElfQuest characters, I spliced them up. Here is Brace, drawn by memory.

Why did I use brown pencil, urgh.

I had the desire to experiment with using only color pencils. Haven't decided who of my characters this will be yet, but so far I'm so pleased that I have to share.
