This piece turned out well but I know I can do better, so more practise will bring more eq's hooray.  I'll be posting a coloring gallery soon for everyone to have fun with.

Gotta agree with others, the post is very cool, she looks strong but feminine the same time! just what I'd expect from a wolfrider! very dynamic drawing!...

Again you've stayed true to the character and have done a great job drawing her. The pose is perfect for her and I for one love the pencil work so I'd love to see more. I think her reaching arm is a little off around the bend of the arm, but that could be because of the feathers and sleeve ending just before that point so it's distorted a bit. The hand grasping the bow would work better if you defined wrist a little more. Again, I'm just nitpicking; the illo is wonderful.

Oh....I'm really bad on hands and feet (my personal achillies heel) lots more work in those areas is definitely needed.  You know I was having probs with that area on the shoulder too, so i went to the mirror pulled the shirt collar to where the feather placement would be, then got into the pose and aside from me looking silly ;p it didn't look right in real life either.  If you really like pencilling I'll post a few in the forum section under non eq art so you can see what I was able to to and what I working really hard to get back too.

I do like how dynamic this is, that's very Dewshine!  I think the main thing that throws me off is that the bow disappears against the tree.  I don't know what the solution to that would be!  I'd struggle with it myself, even trying to do it in color.  But my first few glances at this suggested that was a branch (and she was stepping into the crook of it), rather than a bow.  Maybe just viewer-error, and not paying close enough attention.
