the comic novel adventure of the Sea Raiders continues. Last year in Mermay, Sea Raider Captain Silver and his cigarette snail henchman Rupert were on the hunt for the diamond. This year it continues, because Silver just can not find the treasure again no matter how much he turns the landscape upside down. And now his captured red jewel of the Huxlipuxli tribe is also gone! It is maddening. What a lousy pirate! And what the hell is his henchman doing there?

Hilarious! It's the lifting of the carpet of land that gets me and the draining of the waters beneath. I can't help but be reminded of "instant hole" from one of Wile E Coyote's numerous inventions. Or purchased items from his beloved Acme. Darn that snail! If Silver should ever find out...! Love Silver's expression...and that land carpet!
