WOW... I didn't realise from the thumbnail that this was one of Kelly's... I just commented on one of her earlier pieces that I always love her work... and this one just proves my point! The style and texture of this is AWESOME!

Waw, what did you use to color this??
 There seem to be so many different hues in every part!You really managed to recreate the shock and horror Leetah felt at that moment! |

Sorry afke, only just now seeing your question... This was my first experiment with egg tempera paints. They dry almost as soon as they touch the board, so you have to paint many little hatch stroke in many different layers, but that's fun for me
