I tried to get these as closely matched as I could so they would look like they belong together. doing to two of these at the same time was alot harder than I imagined it would be.

Did you mean for the two pictures to combine into one with the kitty face in the middle?

I'm thinking of trying to frame them in the same frame, so I can have the half-faces lined up that way.

^^ Yes I did mean for the pictures to line up though not quite combined because I wasn't quite able to line them up right. >.< I'm glad you both like them, I had alot of fun. You are both Very Welcome

Maybe it's the background, but what really strikes me is the color of his hair. It is almost as if you could touch it and feel the silkiness. Gorgeous coloring effect! As always, that background...what can be said that hasn't already been said? I can't imagine how long it must take you and the end result is always just breathtaking. Strangely, Kael's pose and face just seem to say, "Oh, and by the way, I'm a GoBack and can kick your ass."
