Yes, I really think he looks like early EQ Rayek. His eyes were often deep in shadows back then, weren't they? I think he has a rather sexy look here.

Ah! Young Rayek! I think the certain wild side of him is showing here, a thing that has long since vanished in the comics, sadly... I loved the more angular faces the characters had back then! you captured it nicely!...
