Only you could make such an emotional bond with an inanimate object work. I truly love this.

Hehehe, yes, that one is a nice surprise. Some slightly dark homour in it. That reflection effect is well done! The scene also is supported by the warm / cold colour flow, the tears in the cold area and the reflection in the warm shine.

Ah, the joy in finding the perfect weapon.  A true Warrior's Bond.  So original and yet so understandable. (most of us have a likey for pointed and shiny things) The reflection is just captivating, but I love the color progression as well.  Berit you really put yourself into this one, for you have a love of weapons as well, yes?  Great originality.

Sorry for the (very) late reply! Yeah, I have a certain love for medieval weaponry, no matter what country, I just love them!...

Wait, I didn't comment on this one yet?! REALLY?! I absolutely love this! I can easily relate. My family and close friends know gifts that make me really happy are fully functional bladed shiny things. For my birthday this year, my brother saw me ogling a gorgeously made, scalpel sharp Russian blade...okay, fondling it...that he told me not to purchase it. So, that's what he got me for my birthday. I love the expression here and again, I can so relate. It makes me want to rush out and get another new longsword. That and I just watched a video of European Medieval longsword versus katana. Loved it! Damn, I need another sword.

And where are you, Berit? WE MISS YOU! Oh, and I've moved. Again. Lots to tell you when you're back.
