Terra was riding in the forest, hunting, suddenly, she almost felt a familiar scent in the air... and as she looked up, the moons seemed to form a familiar shape... as something was there, hunting with them... Terra could only ask...

"Dreamwind... you still hunt with the pack?..."

this image continues this one -> http://www.elfquestfanart.com/index.php?action=media;sa=item;in=3100

and I drew this picture with a ballpoint pen, when I was fueled by the death of my oldest cat. Today, Figaro passed away...

Oh High Ones, Berit, I am so very sorry to hear about Figaro. I know we discussed it, but no matter how we think we're ready to let go, we never are. This is a very loving and touching tribute to him. It brings tears to my eyes to think about all the loved ones I wish I could see and reach out and touch just one more time. Beautifully drawn, beautiful movement, just beautiful. My deepest sympathies, Berit.

I feel like crying now.

What's that saying again...? "Those who've never been loved by an animal, miss a little piece of their soul. "
Or something to that extent...

So sorry to hear about naother loved one passing away. Too bad cats don't grow as old as we do.
This is a beautiful way of portraying emotions though. Love it.

Oh no! I am so, so sorry, Berit. Having just lost a loved one myself, this really made me cry. You are good at portraying the pain you feel when someone you loved is gone forever. This picture goes straight to my heart. Sad and beautiful. But I think it's no shame to cry for someone you loved.

A very fitting picture, sad but comforting...  :'( Figaro was always one of my favourites, despite his bad temper when he was younger... I'll always remember him as the strong and proud one.

Thank you all so very much... Figaro was my oldest furry friend, so it takes time getting used to the fact that he isn't here to greet me anymore... I'm happy that you are all so understanding, for I might not be so active during this time...

Treefox: I'm so sorry to hear of your loss... I hope this picture will give you some peace of mind!... losing something one loves is always hard......

It's strange, but sometimes seeing something that reflects your feelings, does help indeed.
Even more mysterious, I actually saw something like this last night. Even though we have a waxing moon currently, there was a very light cloud in front of it that really had the shape of a wolf. It was very beautiful and moving. Sadly it was over so soon.

I really like how you've done the moon figure. It really had that wolf in the moon feeling while still being hauntingly sad.

And gosh, I'm so sorry to hear about your cat, Berit. :( Didn't catch that piece of information before now.
