My very favorite for the award of  "Best Name" .  An ELFQuest Name is hard by the old rules.  Richard had some amazing advice in   The "Elf-ficial"  ELFQUEST Fan Club Handbook;  Lodestone  #28 - Spring 1988  Special Issue.    Under >  Finding Your Elf Name.

This character was developed by a Woman who owned and operated a Stained Glass Shop.  Since hot sand equals glass I have always admired this crossover of  Fandom  vs  real life.  It truly makes me smile every time.

Finally finished and ready to send to her to paint/color.   I am drawing a lot of characters in this pose:  step  by Wolf.

Almost a shame the character couldn't be doing something with sand or glass. Either way, she's lovely and I hope the person behind the character is pleased. Does Hotsand have a streak of different color in her hair starting at the hairline? It appears that way, which would be the only other character I've ever seen apart from my Holt of Grand Illusions' Starshadow to have it. Gives her a distinct look without being strange or silly. Again, a HUGE fan of the linework; always a pleasure to see your art. Love the twisting trees in the background as they add a touch if mystery to it. The bond wolf seems to either have short legs for the portion of the head or maybe the chest is too deep. Something appears just a little off.

Hi  AMBERFOX  !      I am hoping to find out just what color everything is when the PC player colors this.  The delay is my fault.  I am learning how to  'beam'  it over in a e-mail.  So I guess that would be a Link  ?  ?
