OK finally Embala is colored!!! I know it was a long time but I was able to finally pin myself down to get her all done....I hope everyone enjoys!!!

I colored the sky to light....
 That is why it looks white still, I need to darken it some.

I absolutely loooove the blue colors. o.o And you can really see the movement on her hair.

Thank you sooooo much for your advice Nilla!!!! Besides the face being hard to the movement in the hair was just as bad. I was having a tough time figuring out the colors I was going to use for Embala, but you like them?

Hmm, well, the suit itself might be a bit too 'Han Purple', but besides that, it perfect. =)

I see what your talking about with the purple in it a little. I need to find a really good selection of colors and a better set of pencils. But thank you!!!!

I'm so glad to see the colored version! Very soft colors. Lovely! I actually like the sky white as it is. Under certain light conditions sky can seem white, indeed. Also if the sky had been really blue it probably wouldn't have made a good contrast to Embala's hair.
It's very nice how the hair structure "breaks" in the wind. Makes it seem more alive. |

Thank you Nilla for the link of the different blue there are some very pretty colors....Thank you Treefox I had some comments over on the EQ site about making a sunset for the back ground I am going to give it a try to see how it turns out.

I've been meaning to ask you, how do you color white skin with color pencils? No matter what I try, the only skin colors I get out properly is dark skin color. Which I think I get right, hehe. Is it so simple as don't use only the skin color pencil but brown, orange and pink or do you use dark magic to commune with the scanner?

For me It depends on if I want light or dark skin. I use a peach and a light tan for a light skin and just gradually darken it with using a light tan to even darker tan and just keep using darker color to what you want or like....*Did you really have to tell my secret about the scanner*

You know, I've been looking this over again, and the only thing I have any problems with is her eyebrows. I think they're too bright.
